Cynthia has been active on the NY choral/church music scene.  She performed with the New York Philharmonic under conductors Kurt Masur and Loren Maazel and with the American Symphony Orchestra under Leon Botstein. Highlights of those concerts include John Adams', On the Transformation of Souls, with the NY Philharmonic, which won three 2005 Grammy Awards in Classical Music; being an octet soloist at Avery Fisher Hall in Kaija Saariaho's Chateau de l'ame, and a section soloist in Luigi Dallapiccola's Canti di iberazione, with the ASO.  She is a founding member of The Douglas Frank Choral, whose premiere recording of the classic book of madrigals and motets, The A Cappella Singer, was named "Best Classical Album of 2001", a song of which was recently featured on the Irish film, A Long Way from Home.   She also had the pleasure of singing with Sir Paul McCartney in his Standing Stone concert at Carnegie Hall and with Bjork at Riverside Church.  

As a church choral singer she sang with Owen Burdick at Trinity Church-Wall Street and composer/conductor Dr. David Hurd at NY's All Saint's Church and Church of the Holy Apostles.  In additional to weekly choral eucharist, she was a soloist with orchestra in Mendelssohn's Elijah and the complete J.S. Bach Missa Brevis. A favorite solo was Frank Santo's haunting Holy Week work, Darkness Covered the Whole Earth. 

Her musical theatre singing includes the role of Mrs. Einsford-Hill and ensemble in My Fair Lady at The New Harmony Theatre, a Liebeslieder Singer in A Little Night Music in NY, lead soloist in Lazarus, The Musical at NY's Riverside Theatre, soloist with The New York Christmas Revels, and cabaret performances at Don't Tell Mama and The Duplex.
